With effortless ease thoughtless thoughts drift in and out,
A life’s worth of life floats through the course of a day,
Distant youth wistfully beckons,
Yesterday’s nothings carelessly occupy more space than worth,
Tomorrow’s sorrow and tomorrow’s joy is yet to be.
Another day, another series of thoughtless thoughts
Effortlessly eases one through the day.
Returning to old attitudes, seeing with old eyes,
How fresh the world seems after a long absence.
Details eat up a life and details are the very fabric of life,
So pick and choose your details wisely.
Live long enough to outlive your mistakes.

I love the idea of outliving your mistakes - just so long as you don't forget them, and have to make them all over again!
'Thoughtless' does seem to become more and more effortless in this world, doesn't it? I loved your use of these two words together. Striking photos to support your words!
I liked these...aging at the speed of nature is just all the hurriedness I need. But I will admit I love modern changes...it keeps me alive.
